At this time, patients who are enrolled in Medicare are not able to participate in our practice. Because the physician is enrolled in Medicare, federal regulations from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services require that Medicare be billed for covered services provided to Medicare beneficiaries. These rules prevent us from offering care under our direct-pay model to Medicare patients.
