MEET THE PERSON

Dr. Kara Bos was born in Pusan, South Korea and placed for adoption as an infant before being raised by a loving family in the Midwest. Her early experiences shaped a deep sense of empathy, resilience, and a desire to ensure others feel seen, heard, and supported.

She chose obstetrics and gynecology because she wanted to be present for the beginnings she never fully knew herself—supporting women and families during some of the most personal and transformative moments of their lives.

After becoming a mother, Dr. Bos experienced firsthand the strain of balancing medicine, family, and an increasingly restrictive healthcare system. Over time, insurance-driven care made it difficult to practice in a way that aligned with her values.

That realization led her to create a different kind of practice—one rooted in access, advocacy, and meaningful relationships. Today, Dr. Bos brings her lived experience, clinical expertise, and unwavering commitment to every patient she serves.
